We built the SEO platform we always wished existed
Not another dashboard. Not another report. A platform that actually fixes your SEO — and optimises you for the AI-driven future of search.
“We believe every business deserves to be found — on Google, on AI, everywhere search happens.”
— OmniRank mission statement
Why we built OmniRank
In 2023, something fundamental shifted in how people search for information. ChatGPT reached 100 million users in 60 days. Perplexity became a default for research queries. Google shipped AI Overviews to billions of users. Suddenly, the top of the search results page was no longer a list of blue links — it was an AI-generated answer.
The problem? Every SEO tool on the market was still optimising for a world that no longer existed. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz — brilliant tools, all built for the era of ten blue links. None of them could tell you whether ChatGPT was recommending your business, or why Perplexity was citing your competitor instead of you.
We saw a gap: businesses needed a platform that covered both traditional SEO and AI platform visibility (what we call LLMO — Large Language Model Optimisation). Not as an afterthought bolt-on, but as a first-class feature built from the ground up.
But visibility alone isn't enough. We had also watched countless businesses pay for SEO audits, receive 40-page PDF reports, and then do nothing — because they didn't know where to start. The industry had a data problem masquerading as an insight problem.
OmniRank was built to close both gaps. We automate the SEO work itself — not just the reporting. We track your AI platform visibility and tell you exactly what to change. And we generate a prioritised 90-day roadmap so you always know what to do next.
We're a small, focused team. The founding team has shipped SEO and content infrastructure at previous startups before OmniRank — work that ranged from technical SEO audits for B2B SaaS, to multi-platform content strategy, to building developer tooling. We started OmniRank in late 2025 after seeing first-hand how the existing tools fell short for the AI-search era.
Our approach
Automation over reports. Existing tools are 90% data and 10% action. We invert that ratio. Every OmniRank audit produces concrete fixes the team can ship, not just a list of findings.
Transparency over black boxes. Every recommendation comes with its reasoning, data source, and expected impact. If we say a fix matters, we explain why — and we show our work.
AI-forward, not AI-bolted-on. LLMO was built into the audit engine from day one, not added later as a feature toggle. AI visibility is a primary score category, not a sidebar widget.
Customer success over feature count. We ship fewer features but ship them all the way through. A shipped detector that works on every customer site beats ten half-working detectors every time.
What we stand for
These aren't words on a wall. They shape every product decision we make.
Automation First
If AI can do it, we automate it. Our platform handles the repetitive, time-consuming SEO work so you can focus on what only you can do — building your business.
Full Transparency
No black boxes. You always know what is happening and why. Every recommendation comes with clear reasoning, data sources, and expected impact.
AI-Forward
We track where search is going, not just where it has been. When ChatGPT changed how people find information, we built LLMO before any other SEO tool even noticed.
Results-Focused
Your rankings improve, or we help you find out why. We ship tools that move real metrics — not vanity dashboards. Measurable impact is the standard we hold ourselves to.
What OmniRank does
OmniRank is a full-stack SEO and AI visibility platform. It audits your website, generates your strategy, creates content, tracks rankings, and monitors your presence across every AI platform — automatically.
How OmniRank is built
OmniRank is built on Next.js 16 and Vercel, with audit data processed through Inngest for reliability and Supabase for storage. Our audit engine runs deterministic checks (title length, meta length, schema validation, performance metrics, security headers) alongside AI-powered analysis using Claude Opus for content evaluation. Backlink data comes from Bing Webmaster Tools (with Moz integration on the roadmap). PageSpeed measurements come from Google's official PSI API.
We chose this stack because reliability matters more than novelty. Customer audits run through the same pipeline that built our own marketing site. We eat our own dog food — every detector in OmniRank flagged issues on our own site, and we shipped fixes for all of them.
